The Phantom of the Opera

January 2019-NOW!

I am currently on tour with The Phantom of the Opera. We are doing the original Hal Prince-directed production under the eye of Reiner Fried, and it has been an AMAZING experience. Working with many of the New York team including Kristen Blodgette, Arthur Masella, Dan Kutner, and David Andrews Rogers, we mounted the show in Manila and have done some insane traveling since then! It has been a gift becoming a part of this (ph)amily, and seeing how different parts of the world are impacted by this iconic story. I play Monsieur Reyer, the Chief Repetieur of the Opera Populaire, as well as the Jeweller in the opera "Il Muto" and some other fun features throughout the show.

Musical Therapy

December 2018

After successful runs at the Gorilla Tango Theatre, the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival, and winning "Best Musical" at the DC Capital Fringe Festival, Musical Therapy had its first New York presentation. I played Tim, who finds himself in couples therapy when his girlfriend Darcie takes the BDSM a bit too far. With a cast led by Lauren Molina, this industry reading was a lot of fun. Keep your eyes peeled for what writers Joey Katsiroubas and Dan Hass have in store.

Altar Boyz

August and September, 2018

That was crazy! After a few weeks of rehearsal as Abraham, I actually opened and finished the run playing Matthew. It's safe to say I'm VERY off-book for this show--and have discovered my riffing and beat-boxing hidden talents. Amen, mazel tov, and thanks to ABT for helping me realize my boy band dreams.

Hair

February and March 2018

HAIR HAIR HAIR HAIR HAIR HAIR HAIR HAIR! I had a blast playing Woof in this beautiful production at Arizona Broadway Theatre under the vision of Kurtis Overby. We protested, got naked, and let the sunshine in.... really, what more could you ask for?

Zoho Commercial

December 2017

I filmed my first commercial! Halleloo Productions hired me to shoot a commercial for Zoho, an operating system used to help run businesses. It was great to work on camera and something I really hope to do more of!

Ragtime

July and August 2017

I had the honor of joining the company of Ragtime at the Ogunquit Playhouse. With direction by Seth Sklar-Heyn and choreography by Jesse Robb, this production felt particularly poignant, playing during the Charlotsville protests.

Queen Mary 2

September 2016-May 2017

I had the incredible opportunity to head back on board the QM2 as a production singer, this time for their world voyage. I performed in four production shows, singing everything from golden-age musical theatre to contemporary Latin-pop. I also traveled to five continents and more than twenty countries, giving me to taste cuisines and scuba dive all over the world!

A Little Night Music

June 2016

With A Little Night Music, I had the joy of again working with the music of my favorite composer, Stephen Sondheim. I played the sexually-frustrated clergy-bound Henrik Egerman. Under the witty and delightful direction of Clayton Phillips, I learned some cello, attempted to hang myself, made-out with the maid, and took off with my step-mother.

The Miracle Worker

April 2016

I had the privilege of working on this incredibly moving and emotional play, telling the true story of Helen Keller. This beautiful production, under the direction of Amiee Turner, showed the importance of language, communication, perseverance, and family. I had a blast playing Helen's half-brother James.

1776

February and March, 2016

This production gave me the rare and precious opportunity to play against type as the sharp, slavery-loving Edward Rutledge! This role, featuring the powerful song "Molasses to Rum", was intimidating at first; but it was such a joy and privilege to take on, and has turned out to be one of the most rewarding theatrical experiences to date. Under the incredibly intelligent direction of Joel Kipper, the show received rave reviews and held immensely poignant in this election year.

Sapien, Sapien, Sapien

February 4-6, 2016

I had the opportunity to perform with Baby Crow Productions in a staged reading of a new musical by the writing team of Jonatahan Brenner and Mia Copatorto Sommese. "Sapien, Sapien, Sapien" is an emotional, compelling, and thought-provoking story that explores the first human being exhibit at the zoo. Under the direction of Margaret Grace, this project is bound to do some exciting things.

A Christmas Carol

December 2015

I've escaped the NYC winter to the warmth of Peoria, AZ! I am celebrating the Chrismas season with Arizona Broadway Theatre's production of Lynn Ahrens'  and Alan Menken's A Christmas Carol. I play the role of Young Scrooge, as well as some smaller character bits throughout the show. Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, and a joyful holiday season to all!

Into the Woods

April and May, 2015

I was fortunate enough to play Jack in Into the Woods at Ocean State Theatre Company in Warwick, RI under the fearless direction of Kahtryn Markey. Jack has been a dream role for some time, so it was an immense pleasure to journey up the beankstalk with such a fantstic group of people.

Tim and Scrooge

December 14, 2014

This weekend I had the pleasure of performing in a staged reading of Neil Berg's and Nick Meglin's new musical Tim and Scrooge. The show takes place ten years after Dickens' tale ends. I had a blast playing Tim's neurotic yet endearing older brother Gerald. Such a privilege to work with the writers and the outstanding cast of Broadway veterans under the direction of Nick Corley!

The Queen Mary 2

November 27, 2013

After spending most of the year out of the country, I've made it back to you, America! For the past five months, I"ve been singing aboard the world's only oceanliner, the Queen Mary 2. I worked in all styles of music, from classical Italian pieces to current-day pop. In the process, I got to see many different countries and make some great friends from all over the world. Rehearsing and living in England with Qdos Productions was also a blast.... And as the only American in the cast, I created my own blog!

Never Grimm

November 26, 2013

I just finished working on a reading of Neil Berg and Jonathan Feldman's musical Never Grimm. The story takes a new spin on nursery rhymes of the Brothers Grimm. I played the role of Mark as well as some other featured ensemble parts (including a Unicorn!) under the direction of Michael Barikiva. Keep your eyes peeled for this show!

NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation

September 29, 2013

I was chosen to participate in NYMF's annual Next Broadway Sensation competition. It was a pleasure singing alonside some seriously talented young performers, and get some great feedback from some of the industry's best.

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

September 2013

I just had an absolute blast playing Snoopy in the Surflight Theatre's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown under the direction of Norb Joerder. WOOF!

(Side note, I really love dogs)

James and the Giant Peach

August 2013

I had such a great time playing the title role in this adaptation of Rhold Dahl's beloved classic. Director Jamila Reddy brought something wonderful and exciting to it, and it was a joy bringing theatre to a young audience, many for the very first time.

Gypsy

July 2013

It was a privilege to play a role in one of my favorite musicals. I played Yonkers, one of Mama Rose's (Michele Ragusa) farm boys, in the first act. Pictured is me as Pastey, the sleezy stage manager at the strip club. Thanks to director Stephanie Yankwitt for this excellent experience!

May 19, 2013

After four life-changing years of growth and fun, I've graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Thanks to everyone who's helped me along the way, and here's to all the exciting adventures the future has in store!
